Ginger Lemon Tea
Here’s a yummy iced tea recipe that you can make to help you hydrate during hot summer days . We’ve all heard of the many benefits of drinking warm lemon water in the morning. Ginger, however, isn’t as popular. Adding the spicy and aromatic root to your tea can help ramp up your self care routine. It has high levels of vitamin C and helps the body absorb nutrients.
1 quart purified water
To make 1 quart of ginger tea, grate a 2-inch piece of peeled whole ginger and place in a 3-quart pot or kettle with one quart of purified water. Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat. Allow the tea to simmer for 15 minutes. Strain the tea, add a few slices of lemon and enjoy. Store the reminder in a mason jar for up to three days in your refrigerator.
